Millions of laundry detergent pods made by Procter & Gamble have been recalled due to faulty packaging. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall, citing a serious risk of accidental ingestion by young children and potential facial injuries. The affected products include Tide, Gain Flings, Ace, and Ariel liquid laundry detergent pod packets. The packaging designed to prevent access to the pods can split open near the zipper track, posing a risk of injury. The recall applies to products made between September 2023 and February 2024. Consumers are advised to check for recalled lot codes and contact Procter & Gamble for a refund and replacement child-resistant bag.
