The Milwaukee Bucks and Oklahoma City Thunder will compete for the NBA Cup championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas after winning their respective semifinal matches.

Milwaukee edged the Atlanta Hawks 110-102 in a closely contested game. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with a near triple-double, scoring 32 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and dishing nine assists. He also added four blocks, including a crucial late-game rejection.

The game remained tight until the final quarter when Antetokounmpo took control, securing the win for Milwaukee. Damian Lillard contributed 25 points to the Bucks’ victory.

For Atlanta, Trae Young put up a strong performance with 35 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bucks.

In the other semifinal, Oklahoma City defeated the Houston Rockets 111-96. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander overcame a slow start to finish with 32 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and five steals. The Thunder’s defense played a crucial role, particularly in the second half when they outscored the Rockets 70-54.

Both teams showcased strong defensive efforts, with scoring at a premium throughout the game. Houston struggled with shooting, especially among their starters.

The NBA Cup championship game is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday. The winner will become the second-ever NBA Cup champion, following the Los Angeles Lakers’ victory in the inaugural tournament last season.
