Chelsea complete Joao Felix signing from Atletico Madrid

Chelsea has completed the signing of Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. The transfer fee is approximately £44.5 million ($58 million). The deal includes no add-ons but does include a sell-on clause. Joao Felix, 24, has signed a six-year contract with Chelsea, with the option of an additional 12 months. He previously spent the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Chelsea and is excited to be back. The move has paved the way for Conor Gallagher to complete his switch to Atletico. Joao Felix has had successful spells at Barcelona and Atletico, scoring 34 goals in 131 matches.
