Spotify Increases Prices Again #

Spotify is raising its prices for most subscription plans in the US. The latest price hike is due to the rising costs of doing business and inflation. Starting in July, the ad-free premium plan will increase by $1 to $11.99 per month. The Duo plan, which allows two people to split a premium plan, will rise by $2 to $16.99 per month. The family plan will increase by $3 to $19.99 per month. Other streaming media companies like Paramount, Warner Bros. Discovery, NBCUniversal, and Netflix have also raised prices recently. Spotify’s stock increased over 2% in premarket trading and is up nearly 60% for the year.
