Wolves' Daniel Podence completes permanent move to Al Shabab

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Daniel Podence has completed his move to Al Shabab. The 28-year-old’s departure from the club was expected, with interest from former club Olympiacos. Podence, who joined Wolves in 2020 from Olympiacos, scored 16 goals in 108 appearances. During the 2023-24 season, he had a loan spell at Olympiacos, where he scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in 47 games. Podence expressed his gratitude to Olympiacos and its fans but did not mention Wolves. Wolves’ next match is against Newcastle United on September 15.
